MARKET TREND REPORTS FISA N.A. conducts two important 'trend reports' on equipment sales; one on the sale of commercial fitness equipment and one on the sale of equipment purchased by consumers through the fitness specialty retailers. The Commercial Market Trend Report was initiated in 1999. The Fitness Specialty Trend Report was initiated in 2003. The methodology for both reports is similar. Participants self-report their sales data by product line on a completely confidential basis to a certified public accounting firm, which aggregates the data, analyzes the results, and reports trends in the purchase of commercial fitness equipment. Only the participants receive the reports. Only the aggregated data is reported. The reporting templates and instructions can be downloaded from this site.
